1 - You Teachers Dashboard

The Teacher's Dashboard is your central hub for OSSLT preparation. Upon successful login, you will access the dashboard that includes key features for managing your classroom and students.



  1. Dashboard Layout:

  • Five Tabs: The left-hand side menu contains five main tabs:
    • Dashboard
    • Classrooms
    • Students
    • Submissions
    • Student View


  1. Dashboard Features:

  • Snapshot of Key Data: The Dashboard tab offers an overview of key metrics and provides quick access to essential shortcuts.
  • Teacher Account Details: Displays your name, school name, school board name, and assigned classrooms.


  1. Classroom Assignment:
  • Classroom Creation: School administrators (principals, vice principals, or Student Success teachers) are responsible for creating and assigning classrooms to teachers.

  1. Filters on the Dashboard:
  • There are four filters located at the top of the dashboard:
    1. School Board (pre-selected).
    2. Semester (allows selection of the academic term).
    3. Classroom (allows selection of a specific class to view its data).

    4. Booklet or Course Content (displays OSSLT preparation materials, which may vary based on student groups like previously eligible students, OLC students, and students in grades 7-10).

      Note: Consult with your school admin to confirm the materials you have access to.


Additional Features:


  • Quick Access Buttons: Located below the filters, these buttons provide quick access to your Students List and Classrooms List.

  • Student Enrollment: The dashboard displays the total number of students enrolled in your assigned classes.

  • Classroom List: You can view the classrooms assigned to you and quickly access their data.

  • School Admin Support: The dashboard highlights school admins within your board, making it easy to reach out for support.

  • Performance Insights: The dashboard provides insights into student work and progress, including:
    • Performance comparisons.
    • Engagement tracking.
    • Identifying challenging or most accessed lessons.
    • Future updates to expand this feature further.

Support Options:

  • Contact Support: At the bottom of the dashboard, you'll find an option to contact support via an automated chatbot and the ability to submit a ticket for the support team.
