- Level 2 (Satisfactory): The writing shows satisfactory understanding and application of conventions. The topic is developed with some detail and relevance but may lack depth or coherence in places. The feedback will highlight areas for growth.
- Level 3 (Proficient): The writing demonstrates proficient use of conventions and presents a clear, well-developed topic. The content is mostly cohesive and relevant, with minor errors that do not impede understanding. Feedback will focus on refining strengths and addressing minor issues.
- Level 4 (Excellent): The writing excels in the use of conventions and demonstrates outstanding topic development. The essay is coherent, well-organized, and provides a detailed, clear response. Feedback will commend the student for their strong writing and suggest ways to elevate their work even further.
